Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks an IT Network Engineer for our Sierra Vista, AZ office to support DoD networks and Comply to Connect (C2C) deployments. The role involves on-site work with occasional travel to Army bases for deployment and testing, plus ongoing development of C2C operations with a global team.

Qualifications

• 15+ yrs. experience working in a DoD environment (Contractor/Civilian/Military)
• US Citizen and ability to gain interim secret clearance or higher
• Knowledge of DoD network technologies and C2C/1x authentication practices
• Experience with network access controls and enterprise networking environments
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills on large DoD networks

Responsibilities

• Provide Engineering support for Comply to Connect on multiple DoD networks and classification domains
• Establish and maintain network analysis and monitoring tools; including health reporting and alerting
• Make recommendations to optimize stability, availability, reliability and performance of networking infrastructure
• Resolve complex networking and other technology issues with multiple parties involved
• Develop process and architecture diagrams
• Identify and provide SME on remediation and mitigation of all open findings from DISA STIGs
• Provide program status reports and briefings to internal management and government oversight officials
• Understand enterprise computing environments and TCP/IP networks including ASA, Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Brocade switches
• Hands-on troubleshooting across Linux/Windows/UNIX environments as needed
• Work in a team-oriented environment and manage tasks to ensure success
• Prepare detailed descriptions of issues, status updates, recommendations, and reports
