Job summary

ITC Federal seeks a Network Engineer – Travelling to support a global CSfC deployment for the US Army with 100% travel across CONUS and OCONUS locations, including Germany, Kuwait, and South Korea. The role requires hands-on experience with VPNs, routing, switching, and security architectures in large-scale environments.

The ideal candidate holds an active DoD Secret clearance and an IAT Level II cybersecurity certification, plus a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale global environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT-related discipline (or equivalent).
• Active DoD Secret security clearance and current IAT Level II cybersecurity certification (Security+, CySA+, etc.).
• Experience with VLANs, routing (BGP/EIGRP/OSPF), IPsec VPNs, PKI, DNS, and packet analysis tools.
• Hands-on experience configuring IPSec Remote Access & Site-to-Site VPNs and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Administer routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN termination appliances.
• Plan and perform network updates and disaster recovery operations.
• Install new capability integrations and configure secure network segments.
• Test, document, and report system status to support operations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software network problems and replace faulty components.
• Monitor network performance and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with Software, Test, Server Engineers, and Operations staff.
• Travel 100% to support infrastructure build-out locations.
