Job summary

Peraton seeks a Network Analyst to operate and maintain the Army-Wide Network Enterprise, serving over a million users worldwide for both unclassified and classified networks.

The role interfaces with RNECs and DISA nationwide, installing and maintaining routing, switching, and firewall protocols on Cisco and Juniper devices, while ensuring security and reliability across WAN operations.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA with relevant field or security certs acceptable in lieu of degree.
  • Experience combination per DoD requirements (2 years with BS/BA; 4 years with Assoc.; 6 years with no degree).
  • Certs: Security+/Network+/CCNA/CySA+ encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with Remote Network Enterprise Centers and DISA nationwide for technical assistance.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network protocols on Cisco and Juniper devices.
  • Identify and resolve connectivity and performance issues using Wireshark.
  • Monitor performance with Spectrum and NDFC; perform advanced troubleshooting.
  • Brief officials, personnel, vendors, and VIPs on Enterprise status.
  • Protect networks from unauthorized access by implementing security measures.
  • Review and update network documentation and procedures.
  • Research and develop future technology to improve network capabilities.
