Job summary

American Operations Corporation seeks a Network Technician to join a team supporting DoD classified and unclassified networks. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper devices, manage IP address space, and maintain network topology maps in a 24/7 operations posture.

The role requires DoD 8570 certification and a Secret clearance, with experience in VoIP, DHCP, DNS, and network management tools. On-site duties include physical topology updates and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in IT/CS or related field with 3+ years in a network role.
• DoD 8570 Certification (e.g., Security+) required.
• Secret-level DoD security clearance required; ability to obtain/maintain as contract demands.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper network devices and topology.
• Manage IP address space and network management tools; support 24/7 operations.
• Provide customer support for network-related services and ticket handling.
• Maintain classified/unclassified networks compliance with DoD, Air Force, and DISA directives.
• Update topology maps and coordinate with vendors for upgrades and warranty work.
