Job summary

Empower AI, based in the United States, seeks a Mobile Device Field Technician to manage the full lifecycle of mobile devices for a DoD-focused program. The onsite role in Andover, ME allows up to 50% travel and requires MDM administration, asset control, and secure configurations in line with DISA/STIG policies.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance at start; privilege role.
• Must be willing to obtain TS/SCI eligibility if required.
• Must be within investigation scope/Continuous Vetting.
• Must possess DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II baseline certification.
• Minimum 3 years managing enterprise mobile devices and an MDM.
• Experience with iOS and Android in enterprise.
• Experience managing carrier accounts and reconciling billing.
• Strong mobile security controls and asset inventory expertise.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer the enterprise MDM platform (enrollment, config, apps, compliance, remote lock/wipe, reporting).
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of mobile devices (NIPR, DMCC-S, satellite, tablets, hotspots).
• Provide Tier II support for escalated mobile device incidents and requests.
• Manage carrier accounts and service activations; liaison for escalations.
• Reconcile monthly carrier billing against inventory and report discrepancies.
• Maintain authoritative mobile device inventory with tagging, IMEI/serial tracking, and audits.
• Ensure STIG-compliance and apply OS/firmware updates per policy.
• Develop knowledge articles, user guides, and SOPs; support Tier I enablement.
