Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Logistics Management Analyst for the Strategic Plans, Policy and Logistics Directorate at USTRANSCOM, on-site at Scott AFB, IL. The role focuses on analysis, course of action development, and wargaming to support global mobility and sustainment planning.

Minimum qualifications include a BA/BS or Master’s degree with MEL4 or 15 years of related experience, or 20+ years of military ops in lieu of a degree. U.S. citizenship and active TS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or Masters degree from an accredited college or university with completion of MEL4 of military schooling and 15 years of task related experience.
• Will also consider 20+ years of military operational experience (5 of which earned as E-6 or O-3 or above) in lieu of degree.
• Operational experience includes: Planning and executing combined and joint operations at the theater or component level.
• Knowledge of combat arms, logistics, civil-military operations.
• USTRANSCOM's area of responsibility (or functional area) and task related experience.
• Must have functional and well-developed writing skills with a proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, familiarity with SharePoint functions and Task Management Tool.
• Must enjoy working in a team environment with frequent customer contact and have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated skills in solving problems, troubleshooting, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Proven experience prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.

Responsibilities

• Apply mastery level in Joint Planning related to adaptive/deliberate planning procedures for logistics, deployment and distribution planning.
• Serve as a planner in a small cell responsible for Mission Analysis and Course of Action Development briefings.
• Produce Wargaming products and Course of Action analyses.
• Communicate with enterprise stakeholders effectively.
• Retrieve data from diverse sources and compile into standardized formats for analytic studies.
• Output planning products in MS Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, MS Word, or web formats.
• Balance functional and writing skills with teamwork and customer contact.
