Job summary

Strategic Alliance Business Group (SABG) in Dahlgren, VA seeks a Logistics Analyst (Intermediate) to support the Missile Defense Agency. The role focuses on life-cycle logistics, policy development, and risk management within DoD programs, including Government Furnished Property and IUID considerations.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team, demonstrate strong analytical writing, and comply with DoD security directives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in logistics acquisition, operation, sustainment, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience.
• AA/AS in logistics acquisition, operation, sustainment, and/or related field with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
• Strong analytical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to operate within DoD SAP/JOP environment and manage customer relationships.
• Detail oriented, able to manage multiple projects and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistics support capability and solve life-cycle logistics problems.
• Develop life-cycle logistics policies, plans, procedures and documents.
• Apply logistics concepts to new and legacy systems during acquisition and sustainment.
• Identify and mitigate risks using defined methods and tools.
• Manage Government Furnished Property (GFP), transportation, IUID, and related requirements.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/MDA instructions and security directives.
