Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Logistics Management Analyst for the USTRANSCOM directorate to provide analysis and plan development support for global mobility and sustainment of forces.

The role is on-site at Scott AFB, IL. You will perform joint planning, develop course of action analyses, and produce decision-support outputs using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PDFs, and web formats, while collaborating with a range of enterprise stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or MA with MEL4 or military schooling completed; 15 years of task-related experience.
• Alternatively 20+ years military operational experience (5+ years at E-6/O-3 or higher) in lieu of a degree.
• Operational experience includes planning/executing joint operations at theater/component level.
• Knowledge of combat arms, logistics, civil-military operations, and USTRANSCOM processes.
• Proficient in MS Office suite; familiar with SharePoint and Task Management tools.
• Strong writing and oral communication, interpersonal skills; able to work in a team.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Apply mastery in Joint Planning for logistics, deployment, mobility, and distribution planning for COCOM OPLANS/CONPLANS.
• Serve as a planner in a small cell handling Mission Analysis, COA development briefs, COA analysis, and wargaming outputs.
• Communicate effectively with enterprise stakeholders across organizations.
• Retrieve data from various sources and compile into standardized formats for analytic studies.
• Produce outputs in MS Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, Word, and web formats.
• Prepare staff action decisions packages and briefing materials for senior leadership.
• Balance functional and writing skills, and collaborate with team members.
