Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Project Manager to lead DoD projects, developing and maintaining Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) and generating/updating risk plans while ensuring security and compliance.

You will present plans to government leaders, manage schedules and risks, and produce monthly status reports for the COR-Appointment TA, coordinating with stakeholders to keep projects aligned with strategic goals.

Formación

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• IAW DoD 8570.01-M, IAM II minimum qualifications.
• Must possess ONE of the following 8570 IAM-II certifications: CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP.
• PMP Certification
• Minimum two (2) years of work experience in project management within the DoD.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills, including high-level presentations/briefings.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain the Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) for each assigned project and present these plans to government leaders, updating them based on feedback to meet evolving needs.
• Proactively manage project schedules, risk assessment, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle; prepare decision briefs outlining emergent issues and potential COAs.
• Provide Monthly Status Reports (MSR) to the COR-appointed Technical Assistant (TA), detailing status, emergent issues, and actionable solutions.
