Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead IT sustainment and operations teams for a DoD customer in Honolulu. You will manage 20–25 contractors, coordinate with government leads, apply Agile practices, and ensure delivery aligns with priorities across Hawaii and Virginia time zones.

Requires a STEM degree, 10+ years experience with at least 5 in leadership, and an active Secret clearance. On-site presence four days per week is expected in Honolulu, HI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent years of related work or military experience.
• 10+ years professional experience, with at least 5 years in leadership or project management.
• Active Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• Experience managing IT sustainment/operations teams.
• Familiarity with Agile principles in IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a core set of IT teams and ~20-25 contractor personnel.
• Coordinate with DoD government leads and program leadership.
• Apply Agile best practices to sustainment and operations work.
• Track progress, risks, and metrics for stakeholders.
• Identify improvements and drive corrective actions.
