Job summary

Summit Technologies, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Lead to manage the SOMTC IT Operations Branch at Fort Bragg. You will supervise technical teams, oversee cybersecurity, system and network administration, and ensure compliance with DoD guidance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or higher in IT, several years in supervisory IT roles, and active SECRET clearance. On-site work with occasional travel; strong leadership and program-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or Associate degree with 10+ years IT lead experience.
• Minimum four years in a formal supervisory role managing technical teams.
• Experience overseeing planning, implementation, and maintenance of complex datacenter environments.
• Experience with server virtualization, network infrastructure and storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SOMTC IT Operations Branch and supervise technical-support functions.
• Develop and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity program.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Oversee security controls, incident response, and DoD compliance.
• Coordinate with Government personnel and stakeholders to protect systems.
• Plan, implement, operate, and maintain complex datacenter environments.
• Manage projects and personnel development.
