Job summary

Artera Technologies, LLC is seeking Software Engineers at junior to principal levels to support a range of DoD/IC programs in the Fort Meade area. The role focuses on prototyping, developing, and deploying full-stack solutions with emphasis on performance, analytics, and real-time processing.

Security clearance TS/SCI with polygraph is required or obtainable. We value experience across Java, C/C++, Python, and modern stacks (Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, React).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 0-7 years for Level 1, 7-14 for Level 2, 20+ for Level 3.
• TS/SCI with Appropriate Agency Polygraph clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Experience on DoD/IC programs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems per requirements.
• Reviews and tests software components; documents test results.
• Uses appropriate development methodologies for the environment.
• Designs or implements complex database interfaces/queries.
• Develops algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
• Modifies existing software to fix issues or improve performance.
• Develops software with Java/C/C++, etc.
• May have experience with NoSQL products (e.g., HBase/Accumulo, Bigtable).
