Job summary

Artera Technologies is looking for enthusiastic Software Engineers in the Fort Meade area to support various DoD/IC programs. The positions are available at multiple levels, from Junior to Principal, requiring a bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.

The ideal candidates will develop, enhance, and maintain diverse software systems, utilizing modern technologies such as Java, C++, and Docker, while ensuring compliance with security standards. Applicants must obtain TS/SCI security clearance.

Qualifications

• Software Engineer Level 1 requires 0–7 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Software Engineer Level 2 requires 7–14 years of experience.
• Software Engineer Level 3 requires 20+ years of experience.
• Four additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance complex software systems based on requirements.
• Review and test software components for design adherence.
• Design and implement database interfaces and algorithms.
• Modify existing software to improve performance and correct errors.
• Develop software solutions analyzing system performance standards.
