Job summary

Artera Technologies, LLC specializes in prototyping, developing, and deploying full-stack solutions for high-profile tools supporting DoD/IC missions. We seek enthusiastic Software Engineers across junior to principal levels to support diverse programs in a fast-paced environment, focusing on performance and data-intensive workloads.

Candidates should have a CS degree and strong experience with Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, and modern stacks; TS/SCI with poly is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline required.
• 0-7 years of software engineering experience for junior to mid-level roles; senior tracks have broader scope.
• 7-14 years for higher levels; 20+ years for principal level.
• Additional four years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree on some contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems per documented requirements.
• Review and test software components for design adherence and test results.
• Apply appropriate software design methodologies and trade-off analyses.
• Design/implement complex database interfaces and data repositories.
• Develop and optimize algorithms to meet performance standards.
• Modify existing software to fix issues or improve performance.
• Collaborate with users and engineers to analyze system data flows and requirements.
• Work with languages like Java, C, C++, Python; experience with NoSQL (e.g., HBase/Accumulo) is a plus.
