Job summary

FGS LLC is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and sustain secure cloud infrastructure and platform services in Microsoft Azure to support DoD mission systems. You will apply RMF and STIGs, architect and deploy compliant cloud environments, automate CI/CD, and support ATO activities.

You will collaborate with system owners and security teams to ensure resilient, scalable cloud solutions aligned with DoD reference architectures and Zero Trust principles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification required prior to start.
• 3+ years of practical experience in installing, testing, troubleshooting, programming and maintaining communication systems or networks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of infrastructure environments to determine risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
• Architect and propose tailored technology solutions based on requirements and industry best practices.
• Formulate strategic technology roadmaps aligning IT with organizational objectives.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and regulatory considerations.
