Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a technical or professional financial discipline.
• 4-7 years of experience in DoD financial management.
• Active SECRET security clearance.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies and funding clauses.

Responsibilities

• Apply financial management and accounting functions to gather, analyze, and present information for program managers and customers.
• Prepare program budgets and reports; draft funding requirements and improvements to financial systems.
• Perform budget forecasting, variance analysis, execution reporting, schedule analysis, and EVM; provide recommendations to the program office.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and take corrective actions.
• Compile financial material for FIAR-compliant audits, internal control programs, self-assessments, and routine reporting.
• Prepare financial inputs for events such as BER, IBR, MDR, MAR, PMR, ASP, and IPT risk assessments.
