Job summary

Alexandria Insights, Inc. seeks a Budget/Financial Analyst I–II to support DoD budgeting and financial management in Stafford, on-site only. This junior–mid level role works under guidance to prepare spend plans, monitor execution, and produce audit-ready records.

You will develop reports, maintain supporting documentation, and coordinate with program managers. Proficiency in Excel and DoD budgeting processes plus ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–8 years of relevant finance or budgeting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update spend plans and budget exhibits.
• Support Program Objective Memorandum submissions.
• Create and reconcile financial trackers and reports.
• Update Capital Asset Cost Forms and related docs.
• Document contract funding, asset transfers, and capital improvements.
• Maintain auditable records and support audit responses.
• Monitor financial execution and report variances.
• Coordinate with program managers and stakeholders.
