Job summary

Tactica Solutions LLC in Colorado Springs seeks an experienced Facility Engineer to support the SETA contract for JTF-Gold, Logistics Directorate J4. You will lead, review, and coordinate engineering, environmental, and logistical activities across government facilities.

Required is a Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of DoD experience with a Secret Clearance to start. You’ll manage schedules, subcontractors, and reporting, while interfacing with military and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of DoD experience.
• Secret Clearance to start.
• Develop, update, track, brief Integrated Master Schedule.
• Knowledge of NEPA processes and scheduling.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating deliverables.
• Supervise and mentor staff; performance evaluations and training coordination.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, Teams, Outlook).
• Capable of leading meetings and travel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to achieve engineering, environmental, and logistical objectives.
• Review technical documents for compliance with customer requirements.
• Offer technical/administrative recommendations to resolve issues.
• Track and report status of facility upgrades and maintenance.
• Perform facility maintenance inspections and QA checks.
• Lead preventative/corrective actions; conduct root cause analyses.
• Identify and manage risks; develop risk mitigation plans.
• Engage with internal/external stakeholders and brief leadership.
• Represent J-4 in MILCON planning and design charrettes.
• Other duties as assigned.
