Stantec GS, Inc. is seeking to build a team of interdisciplinary Facility Assessors/Inspectors to work on a large-scale Facility Condition Assessment program at DoD installations across the US.

The role requires knowledge in building systems and includes travel, documentation with tablets, and reporting to a Stantec office with remote/hybrid options. The position emphasizes strong technical writing, good mathematical aptitude, and the ability to work independently under supervision.

Qualifications

• Good mathematical aptitude.
• Good communication and organization skills.
• Ability to travel, 50% or more.
• Position requires drug screen.
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience or formal trade school in building/mechanical systems.

Responsabilités

• Conduct an inventory of client facilities classifying building components per ASTM UNIFORMAT II.
• Perform assessments of client facilities to determine physical condition and conformance with specifications and building codes.
• Experience using facility condition assessment software; knowledge of BUILDER™ SMS desirable; training provided if needed.
• Use tablets to document equipment and subcomponents with justification for condition.
• Work under supervision and in accordance with instructions and standard practices.
• Ability to inspect large complexes and climb ladders to assess building elements and systems (up to ~5 miles per day).
