Job summary

SA-TECH is seeking Engineering Technicians for part-time, on-call duty at Fort Irwin, CA. The role supports live-fire test missions, operating and maintaining EW & Radar systems and related equipment. Travel to remote test locations is required, with rotations and overtime common.

Qualified candidates will hold a CDL-A, have electrical/mechanical maintenance experience, and be comfortable in a DoD setting. Military ranges demand physical stamina, safety PPE, and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL-A Driver License required.
• Electrical and/or mechanical system maintenance/repair experience is expected.
• RF maintenance experience is a plus.
• Radar operation experience is advantageous.
• MS Office proficiency and basic networking/PC skills are needed.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support test events on military ranges following procedures and SOPs.
• Drive and reposition military vehicles on the range (CDL-A required).
• Maintain EW & Radar systems and related equipment.
• Set up and tear down EW & Radar systems at remote test locations.
• Cross-train into other related roles as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced military testing environment.
