Job summary

Saalex Corporation in Camarillo, CA is seeking an Engineering Technician II to support DoD test, evaluation, engineering, and sustainment efforts. The technician will install, maintain, fabricate, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic, electrical, communications, telemetry, and related systems onsite.

Responsibilities include system checkout, calibration, documentation, and collaboration with engineers to implement changes.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of hands-on technical experience with electronic/electrical/avionics or related systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, fabricate, and test systems onsite.
• Perform system checkout, verification, calibration, and certification activities.
• Fabricate and modify cable assemblies and wiring per drawings.
• Support engineering change implementation and documentation updates.
• Maintain project records and technical documentation.
• Operate electronic test equipment safely.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
