Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electronics Test Technician in Andover, MA, onsite, to perform moderately complex testing, troubleshooting and acceptance of production, development systems, infrared devices, and subsystems, following prints, schematics, and process sheets. Starting wage is $32.77 per hour.

4th shift – weekend (Friday to Sunday) 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of electronics education or 2 years in electronics

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1 - 2 years of specialized electronics education OR minimum of 2 years of experience in both electronics test and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Works with engineering personnel with normal levels of support and supervision.
• Reads prints, sketches, schematics, specifications, process sheets, and outlines.
• Uses test equipment to diagnose and isolate failures in UUTs and test setup.
• Maintains equipment and housekeeping in accordance with safety and process standards.
