Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electronics Test Technician in Andover, MA for an onsite role. Primary responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, and acceptance of production and development electronics, infrared devices, and related assemblies. Starting wage is $32.77/hour with 1st shift hours from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Must be able to pass a technical interview and obtain security clearance. The role is onsite, with a unionized environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1 - 2 years of specialized electronics education OR minimum of 2 years of experience in both electronics test and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Works with engineering personnel with normal levels of support and supervision.
• Reads prints, sketches, schematics, specifications, process sheets, and outlines.
• Uses test and measurement equipment and supports multiple setups.
• Performs testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of electronic assemblies and subsystems.
• Identifies deficiencies and suggests improvements for reliability and quality.

Education

2 years electronics education or 2+ years electronics test experience
