Job summary

D&G Support Services, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines within a secure DoD environment. You will integrate enterprise datasets, support analytics and AI/ML initiatives, and ensure data quality across cloud or hybrid environments including AWS, Azure, and Google.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in a technical field, 5+ years in enterprise data pipelines, strong SQL and Python, DoD experience, and an IAT Level II certification; US citizenship and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years building and supporting data pipelines in enterprise environments.
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT processes and working with structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with Python or a similar scripting language.
• Experience working in secure Federal or DoD environments.
• IAT Level II certification (DoD 8570/8140) is 100% required.
• Must be eligible to work in a DoD secure environment.
• US citizenship required under applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured datasets.
• Integrate data from enterprise systems including ERP platforms and legacy systems.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models to support analytics and reporting.
• Implement data validation, cleansing, and monitoring to ensure data integrity.
• Support cloud or hybrid environments, including AWS, Azure, and Google.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers to define data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support AI/ML initiatives by preparing and structuring datasets for model development.
• Document data architecture, workflows, and security compliance practices.
• Troubleshoot performance and data issues and implement corrective solutions.
