D&G Support Services, LLC is hiring a Data Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency’s ARTET program. This onsite position is based in Fort Belvoir, Virginia (Alexandria, VA) and offers a salary range of USD 125,000 - 150,000 per year.

With 5+ years of enterprise pipeline experience, you will help ensure data integrity, performance, and readiness for analytics and AI/ML initiatives. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining secure data pipelines and integrating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years building enterprise data pipelines.
• Strong SQL proficiency with relational databases.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT for structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages.
• Experience in secure Federal or DoD environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate data from ERP, operational databases, and legacy systems.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models for reporting and analytics.
• Implement data validation, cleansing, and monitoring to ensure data quality.
• Support cloud or hybrid data environments using AWS, Azure, or on-prem infrastructure.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers to translate data needs into solutions.
• Support AI/ML data preparation and structuring for model development.
• Document data architecture, workflows, and data security practices.
• Troubleshoot performance and data issues and implement fixes.
