Job summary

Agile Defense seeks a Data Engineer to support the development and maintenance of secure data pipelines and analytics-ready datasets at multiple locations including Ft. Meade, MD.

You will work with data scientists, engineers, and mission stakeholders to process structured and unstructured data using modern platforms. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a technical field, 3+ years in data engineering or related roles, strong Python/SQL skills, and familiarity with Spark/Databricks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, information systems, mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Equivalent combinations of education, technical certification, and relevant professional experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supports the development and maintenance of secure data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows.
• Collaborates with data scientists, engineers, and mission stakeholders to process data using Databricks, Spark, Palantir Foundry, Maven Smart Systems, or comparable platforms.
