Job summary

Synchron, LLC seeks a Data Analyst to support the Navy’s OPNAV N81 Division. The role centers on analytics within the OPNAV PPBE process to evaluate relative programs, costs and risks for informed decisions.

You will help develop Navy equities in the DoN POM and assist with the annual DoD budget submission to Congress. On-site at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA with limited telework and occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or engineering.
• Three+ years of professional data analysis experience.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency; basic R and Python.
• Experience briefing senior leadership.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Prefer SIMIO; Navy/OPNAV/PPBE experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Support OPNAV N81 PPBE processes and balance Navy equities in the POM.
• Assist in developing the DoN budget submissions to Congress.
• Provide analytic capabilities to evaluate programs, costs, risks.
