Job summary

KBR in Washington, DC seeks a Cybersecurity Manager (Contingency Hire) to lead cybersecurity and information assurance for DoD programs. You will drive RMF implementation, system authorization, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance to protect mission systems.

Role requires DoD Top Secret clearance, 10+ years in information security, and 5+ years leading teams. On‑site work location with competitive compensation and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required and active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• 10+ years in information security with DoD/federal experience.
• 5+ years leading cybersecurity teams for enterprise IT environments.
• 10+ years implementing RMF and DoD security processes.
• Experience with DoD security accreditation, assessments, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity personnel supporting enterprise IT and mission‑critical systems.
• Direct RMF implementation and system authorization processes.
• Oversee security assessments and continuous monitoring activities.
• Manage vulnerability assessments using eMASS, HBSS, and ACAS.
• Ensure compliance with DoD directives, NIST standards, and IAM requirements.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cybersecurity work with government customers, engineering, and program management.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to staff while protecting enterprise information systems.
