Job summary

McBride Consulting is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the C3C/Kessel Run division for the Air Force. The role focuses on implementing DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF A&A, and secure DoD cloud infrastructure, with on-site work at Offutt AFB and optional remote work.

You will perform ISSO duties, drive security documentation, manage patches, and coordinate with government and industry stakeholders to obtain authorization from Authorizing Officials.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen required.
• Clearance: Secret level clearance required and maintainable.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Years of experience: 3+ years with DoD experience.
• Understanding of DoD cloud infrastructure and Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Carry out ISSO duties per DoDI 8510.01 and enforce Air Force cybersecurity policies.
• Support RMF Authorization & Accreditation activities with documentation.
• Develop SSPs, PPPs, CONOPS, and vulnerability analyses.
• Manage system security updates and configuration tracking per DoD requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and security evaluations for systems.
• Collaborate with government and contractors to achieve Authorization.
