Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the on-site team in Massachusetts, contributing to system integration, testing, and verification across product lifecycles. You will work with hardware and software, develop test plans, debug interfaces, and verify requirements to ensure first-time success.

You will collaborate across disciplines, support flight-testing and production activities, and travel up to 20% for test events. A Master’s in STEM and hands-on testing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting technical issues using commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.).
• Experience may be gained through on-the-job, research, coursework or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities related to testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
• Functional analysis of real world and test data; trade studies to bring advanced features to fielded system.
• Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment.
• System integration and test support, possibly including live fire test events.
• Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations, including the use of analysis tools, such as MATLAB.
• Support qualification of our products.
• Sustainment/Depot returns and repair.
• Maintain engineering specifications and drawings (DS, ARD, etc.).
• Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders.
• Maintain engineering databases.
• Participate in periodic team meetings, interface teleconference meetings, working group meetings.
