RTX in Massachusetts is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer to join the Patriot Software Team in Tewksbury. This on-site role focuses on ensuring the reliability and quality of our air defense software through rigorous testing in a fast-paced environment.

You will review requirements, design test plans, execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and collaborate with developers and system architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8+ years of experience.
• Experience creating test plans, providing status updates, and guiding technical teams.
• Experience in software engineering, validation, verification, requirements analysis, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements for clarity and testability.
• Write and implement test objectives and ensure coverage.
• Design and execute manual and automated test cases in an on-site lab.
• Analyze results and document findings with recommendations.
• Collaborate with developers, system architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Occasional off-hours testing on second/third shifts.
