Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer in San Diego to integrate hardware and software, develop test plans, debug system interfaces, and verify requirements for customer sell-off. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to implement solutions across the product lifecycle.

You will participate in development, testing, integration, field testing, production, deployment, and post-deployment support, with an emphasis on ensuring performance and reliability in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM obtained by start date.
• Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in academic or internship setting with common test equipment.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical and/or software system integration; C/C++/C# preferred.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python scripting for data analysis and automation.
• Ability to analyze issues and define solutions.
• Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to independently pursue information and solve problems.
