Job summary

RTX is seeking a detail-oriented engineer to review product designs and develop automated test software for aerospace and defense applications in a onsite, US-based setting.

You will interface with hardware, software and design teams to ensure test coverage, document procedures, and present technical information to management. A STEM bachelor’s degree and the ability to obtain DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• Knowledge or experience writing software and debugging code.
• Must have or be capable of obtaining a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review product designs and create test solutions that maximize test coverage in manufacturing and engineering environments.
• Develop automated test software, and integrate the overall test solution with the end product.
• Interface with internal systems, hardware, and software product design teams.
• Prepare and present project / technical information to peers, and internal management.
• Document test solutions through drawings, procedures, and other formal documentation
