Job summary

RTX is seeking a systems administrator to support a 24x7 environment with Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux. The role requires a Secret clearance and US citizenship for DoD-related work. You will manage ESXi/vCenter, Windows domains, and perform backups, security compliance, and software deployments.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years prior relevant experience, or advanced degree.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot basic to moderate scope issues and integrate hardware and operating systems.
• Execute actions as directed by senior staff and project management.
• Engage in cross-team collaboration and align with leadership expectations.
• Manage ESXi, vCenter and Microsoft Windows domains.
• Perform data backup and restore using industry best practices.
• Install and configure applications requested by end users.
• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
• Travel up to 10% per year; role is 100% onsite.
