RTX in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Principal Linux & Windows System Administrator to support classified programs across Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments. This onsite, full-time role requires collaboration with cybersecurity teams to maintain security requirements and deliver end-to-end IT solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a TS/SCI clearance, DoDD 8140/8570 certifications, and a strong background in Windows and Linux administration, storage technologies, and

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree and minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI Poly clearance prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHatEnterpriseLinuxenvironment.
• Experience with RHEL Server setup, RHEL system security management, perform data backup and restore.
• Experience Windows Desktop Operating System (OS) and Windows Server OS Experience with Net App

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced environment, using troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues, including hardware and OS integration.
• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
• Develop solutions and documentation about a variety of technical problems.
• Participate in team collaboration and manage virtualized environments.
