Job summary

Kiakahi, LLC is seeking a Computer Support Specialist to maintain secure government IT infrastructures and support a large client across locations. The role emphasizes compliance with NIST/DoD standards, network monitoring, and incident response in Windows AD environments.

The candidate will work on configuring routers, firewalls, VPNs, and related equipment, while collaborating with stakeholders and providing end-user training and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT preferred.
• 4+ years in network administration with maintenance and upgrades.
• IT I level certification IAW AR 25-2 and IAT II per DoD 8570.01-M.
• Strong knowledge of information security principles and practices.
• Experience with Linux and Windows servers and network monitoring tools.
• Familiar with firewalls, VPNs, and cloud/UNIX knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish router administration and routing policy configurations.
• Evaluate network performance and plan equipment installation and tests.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate network issues; coordinate vendor support.
• Develop and enforce network access, monitoring, and security procedures.
• Provide end-user training and technical references.
