Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Buffalo, NY with an active DoD Secret clearance. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.

You will complete accurate activity reports, document incidents, follow site procedures, and participate in emergency responses.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs per site requirements.
