Job summary

Allied Universal in Buffalo, NY is seeking a part-time Security Officer to patrol an aerospace/defense site, maintain a visible presence, and provide excellent customer service.

You will respond to incidents, monitor access, and document patrols while following company policies and safety procedures. A DoD Secret clearance is required, along with a high school diploma and background check. This role offers flexible scheduling and extra shifts through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace/defense site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking and perimeters.
• Monitor restricted areas, verify credentials, and document patrols and incidents.
• Communicate security observations professionally with site staff and leadership.
