Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to design, test, and implement secure operating systems, networks and databases. You will lead risk assessments, provide guidance on encryption, vulnerability analysis and security research, and support regulatory reporting.

The role requires active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain, along with hands-on RMF execution, cybersecurity tooling, and collaboration with government teams across CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in related field; 5 years of related experience or equivalent
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required or ability to obtain and maintain one
• DoD 8140 Cyber Defense Analyst or Vulnerability Analyst certification desirable

Responsibilities

• Maintain RMF packages and perform risk assessments across mission systems (DTRN)
• Lead and mentor junior information security staff in RMF execution
• Develop and implement Anti-virus/Malware identification for SCN equipment
• Coordinate with IA patching teams on IA/Cybersecurity roadmap and non-compliant controls
• Design, develop and implement secure applications and configurations with government guidance
• Organize annual cybersecurity control validation in line with DoDI 8510.01/8500.01 requirements
• Participate in policy and standards development for information security and incident response
• Provide technical engineering services for integrated security systems
• Monitor information systems for security-related events
• Assess cybersecurity configuration changes for major platforms
• Maintain library of security audit tools for testing and audits
• Travel to CONUS/OCONUS up to 20%
