Job summary

Cinteot Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to lead RMF accreditation efforts, perform security assessments, and support network/security design across government environments.

The role requires DoD RMF experience, certification baseline, and strong communication skills to present risk findings to senior stakeholders. A Top Secret clearance is required and the candidate will engage with engineering teams on IA architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for accreditation documentation and presenting risk findings.
• At least 7 years of cybersecurity engineering, RMF/DIACAP accreditation, and DoD compliance documentation.
• Expertise in applying DISA STIGs/SRGs, vulnerability analysis via ACAS/HBSS, and eMASS package preparation.
• Experience in security engineering for IA architectures, trusted relationships among external systems, and RMF lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate RMF accreditation life cycle for sub-projects.
• Support periodic system security scans as required by policy and RMF.
• Validate system security requirement definitions and analyze designs.
• Perform security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigation steps.
• Review network diagrams, VPN terminations, and TLS security knowledge.
• Support security planning, risk analysis, and risk management for government data.
