Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance to start.
• US Citizenship required.
• 8+ years cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Experience with RMF authorization cycle.
• Hardening Windows Server and Linux (RHEL).
• Proficient with Nessus/Tenable, ACAS, SIEM tools.
• Security+ and Linux+ or MCTS certifications (DoD 8140).
• Familiarity with NIST/JSIG/DAAPM and implement security controls.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Translate RMF categorization results into implementable security requirements.
• Develop and maintain security artifacts and diagrams.
• Analyze ACAS/Nessus/STIG results and assist with remediation.
• Provide A&A support across RMF phases and continuous monitoring.
• Support STIG implementation, compliance verification, and audit readiness.
• Provide security-focused insights for network, infrastructure, and system architecture.
• Communicate risks between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure architectures.
• Explain vulnerability scan results to technical teams.
• Identify remediation strategies and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain Nessus/Tenable and other cybersecurity tools.
• Embed security into engineering processes and build pipelines.
