Job summary

CACI is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure systems and networks in support of CACI operations.

The role requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance, 8+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience, and hands-on RMF expertise in authorization cycles, STIGs, and vulnerability remediation. You will work with cross-functional teams to embed security in the lifecycle and ensure compliance with NIST and DoD guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, or related field; will accept relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance to start; US Citizenship required.
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5, STIGs, SRGs, eMASS/XACTA.
• Experience with RMF authorization cycles from categorization to ATO and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Translate RMF results into implementable system security requirements across hardware, software, and networks.
• Develop and maintain security artifacts and documentation, including data flow diagrams and PPSM registrations.
• Analyze ACAS/Nessus and STIG results and assist with remediation of controls.
• Provide A&A support and security guidance in all RMF phases.
• Support STIG implementation, compliance verification, and audit readiness.
• Embed security into engineering processes and build pipelines.
