Job summary

CACI is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer at junior level to support deployment, integration, and sustainment of security solutions across customer environments. The role requires DoD experience, STIG implementation, vulnerability scanning, RMF, and the ability to travel up to 50% to CONUS/OCONUS sites.

The candidate should have approximately two years of related work, active DoD Secret clearance, and IAT Level II certification or the ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Approximately 2+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience with STIG implementation and remediation.
• Experience with vulnerability scans (ACAS/Nessus).
• Knowledge of RMF and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience with Windows and Linux in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, integrate, and maintain cybersecurity solutions per requirements and policies.
• Perform STIG validation and remediation across networks and systems.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and help mitigate findings.
• Support RMF activities and ensure DoD compliance.
• Assist with system hardening, config Mgmt, and secure baselines.
• Collaborate with government personnel, vendors, and subs to integrate security solutions.
• Troubleshoot security issues and document findings and actions.
• Deliver technical presentations and customer briefings.
• Create technical documentation, guides, and diagrams.
• Support system integration, testing, and cyber validation during deployments.
• Travel up to 50% to CONUS/OCONUS sites.
