Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Service Budget Management Analyst to support a Military Service Headquarters with budget management and analytics. You will leverage DoD systems such as DAI and PBIS, produce briefings for senior leaders, and coordinate with program managers across time zones in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires DoD experience, PPBEA knowledge, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI), and a Secret clearance, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with the DoD.
• Experience supporting the DoD’s Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution, and Assessment (PPBEA) financial resource cycle.
• Experience with DoD budget systems, such as the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) and Program Budget Information System (PBIS).
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
• Ability to be a self-starter and manage competing priorities in a critical, fast-paced environment.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Provide budget management and analytics support to a Military Service Headquarters organization.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and program managers to consolidate requirements, create phasing plans, monitor execution, review KPIs, and remediate accounting abnormalities.
• Serve as program financial manager for Reserve Activation and Integration enterprise program, coordinating with stakeholders across time zones.
• Develop deliverables such as briefings and reports for senior executives and program managers.
• Organize and facilitate meetings, conferences, and oversee completion of action items.
