Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Business Analyst to help the Navy optimize funding and deliver capabilities to warfighters. You will perform financial analysis, support PPBE processes, and create data visuals with Power BI and Tableau to inform spend plans and leadership decisions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in financial analysis or data analytics, experience with DoD budgeting, and a Bachelor's degree, with a Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with financial analysis or data analytics.
• Experience visualizing data to identify or communicate key insights.
• Experience querying or analyzing data to answer questions and solve problems.
• Experience in assisting with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) funding process.
• Knowledge of business analysis or business intelligence tools or approaches.
• Knowledge of core competencies, including budget and spend plan development.
• Ability to guide government clients to meet future visions to support the warfighter.
• Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Present financial reports in Power BI and Tableau.
• Support budget development and the yearly spend plan process for Navy clients.
• Assist program managers and senior leadership to plan and field systems on time.
• Manage millions of dollars allocated to programmatic requirements.
