Tecolote Research, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Huntsville, AL team. You will translate problem-solving and forecasting skills into structured program budgets and analyses for critical DoD programs.

The role requires an extensive background in DoD acquisition finances, space program budgeting, and data-driven decision support. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in math, business or related field required.
• Minimum nine years in DoD Acquisition Financial Management or Budget Analysis.
• Space program experience and range/launch funding experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of DoD funding regulations and MRTFB/RBA concepts.
• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and advise senior leadership on budget propriety.

Aufgaben

• Manage incoming customer funding and requirements for high visibility programs; budget and analyze finances.
• Review and compile data from financial systems for formal budget presentations.
• Analyze and promote improvements in RBA policies to use resources efficiently.
• Serve as a financial analyst for budget portfolios, forecasts, and related information.
• Support POM development, Budget Execution Reviews, and financial management reviews.
• Prepare response strategies to avoid budget cuts; revise allocations as needed.
• Provide expert analysis and reconciliation of budgets across years.
• Advise leadership on budget propriety and regulatory guidance.
