Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking an AV/VTC Engineer at mid-level to join our team at Fort Meade, MD. The role focuses on evaluating, designing, installing, and maintaining DoD video teleconferencing systems and related AV infrastructure.

The candidate will perform site surveys, generate BOMs, lead integration and testing, and draft SOPs for VTC operations. A TS clearance with SCI eligibility and related certifications are required, with on-site work and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Information Management, Information Technology, or related field of study OR
• High school diploma or GED and an additional 4+ years of IT Systems or Helpdesk support experience.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is required within 6 months of the start date.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Successfully pass background and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Provide support in the AV Engineering Team for a DoD organization with video teleconferencing services.
• Troubleshoot and fault isolate to resolve system operational problems.
• Generate and comply with recurring and special reporting requirements.
• Perform site surveys, lead integration, testing, and installations of new facilities.
