Job summary

Dynamo Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineering Consultant to provide DoD acquisition systems engineering support for the ALTNAV program. You will help develop, integrate, test, and manage engineering artifacts across the program lifecycle, coordinating with government stakeholders, vendors, and platform teams.

The role requires independent execution of engineering tasks, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead reviews and document baselines, requirements, and risk analyses.

Qualifications

• Experience performing DoD systems engineering activities and lifecycle support.
• Experience with requirements derivation, documentation, and traceability.
• Experience with configuration management and baseline control.
• Experience with system integration, testing, validation, and technical evaluation.
• Active DoD security clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the ALTNAV systems engineering model.
• Prepare for and support engineering review boards and technical reviews.
• Lead Technical Interchange Review (TIR) scoring reviews and provide technical assessments.
• Review and validate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
• Perform configuration management activities and ensure technical baselines are maintained.
• Review software patches and assess potential impacts to system performance and functionality.
• Conduct failure investigation and mitigation strategy development.
• Create, modify, and review engineering and acquisition documentation to support milestones.
• Support the development of SEPs, CM documentation, risk management, and other artifacts.
• Participate in product, platform, vendor, and customer meetings and technical reviews.
• Assess vendor progress and provide technical recommendations to leadership.
• Interface with external stakeholder organizations supporting the ALTNAV architecture.
• Support requirements analysis, derivation, documentation, and traceability.
• Support systems design, architecture, integration, modeling/simulation, and validation activities.
• Update program documentation and decision-support materials with current technical information.
• Manage engineering tasks and plan for future enhancements across ALTNAV domains.
• Provide inputs to program cost estimates and technical planning.
• Collaborate on SOPs for system health monitoring and mitigation.
• Participate in IPTs, working groups, and program reviews.
• Provide technical inputs to support cost, schedule, and lifecycle objectives.
