Job summary

A government-focused language service provider is seeking Translation Specialists to support law enforcement operations by translating various documents into high-accuracy English. Candidates must have ILR Level 3+ proficiency in English and another language, with experience in legal translations. This position offers flexible remote and on-site options and is contingent on federal contract award.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, Russian, Farsi, French, Pashto, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, or other strategic languages.
• Experience with DEA, FBI, DHS, or DOJ agencies is preferred.
• Familiarity with legal documentation and chain-of-evidence formatting.

Responsibilities

• Translate handwritten, typed, and recorded materials into contextually accurate English.
• Ensure compliance with DEA or legal formatting standards.
• Preserve cultural idioms and linguistic nuances in translations.
• Verify translations for fidelity and consistency.
• Maintain records of translated materials.

Skills

ILR Level 3+ proficiency in English and another language
