Job summary

WaveCrest Staffing Group is seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Associate to support the Quality Assurance team by maintaining and organizing critical documents throughout their lifecycle. You will manage procedures and records, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with owners and reviewers to keep workflows moving.

A high school diploma and 1–2 years of document control experience are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in document control.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, manage changing priorities, and take on a variety of assignments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Must be fluent in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
  • Willingness to travel between locations if business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and track originating procedures, new and integrated procedures, and related documentation, including manuals, forms, and flowcharts.
  • Facilitate electronic document control processes for new and existing Quality System Documents and related records.
  • Track documents throughout their lifecycle, including drafting, peer review, approval, implementation, retirement, and obsolescence.
  • Coordinate with document owners, originators, reviewers, and approvers to keep document workflows moving efficiently.
  • Ensure documents are properly formatted, organized, clear, concise, and compliant with internal standards.
  • Identify and report documentation gaps or issues to senior management as appropriate.
  • Maintain document security and upload new and revised documents into the company's PLM system.
  • Provide administrative support to the Quality Assurance team and assist with evolving business needs.
